National Rejoin Day ~ York
Friends and supporters met up on the sunny but chilly Saturday in Bishopthorpe Road. Friends came from as far as Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire (which includes the Prime Minister's constituency.).
A lot of enthusiasm and support was shared by passers by. Very few preferences for Brexit were heard.
A useful exercise in reassuring folk that a fight to rejoin was still going forward, sharing details of the plight of musicians and would-have-been Eurasmus students, and isolated Brits in general.
Saturday shoppers were openly pleased to see that York for Europe is "still going" and numbers of supporters were impressive.
