YORK Invitation to meet young Europeans at one or both social events in York and Beverley. York for Europe is teaming up with the Hanseatic League in England to welcome young people (the Youth Hansa) from across Europe who are visiting York and Beverley on 4th and 5th April. In a spirit of friendship, the visit is a great opportunity for young people locally to meet and explore common interests and experiences in a relaxed, social environment with young people who live in different European countries.
We first want to meet them and give them a warm welcome to York at a musical evening on 4th April in York 6.30-8.30 at the Unitarian Church in St Saviourgate, York. The music is being performed by local musicians and, if they wish to contribute, the visitors themselves can join in.

Join us after our 7.30pm Branch Meeting to view the Flags in the Wind video paralleling the invasion of Ukraine with the experiences of the UK in World War 2. The formation of the EU helped promote one of the longest periods of peace between the major countries in Europe.
Come to The Mitre Inn, 4 Station Rd, Knaresborough HG5 9AA.
The room is booked from 7pm and we expect the whole event to be
finished by 9.30.
