Saturday 15th August ~ Street Stall, St Helen's Square York

This took place on our usual pitch in St Helen's Square, York.

It took place at the end of a trying week which had featured the fiasco of the Reform created Clacton by-election. I suspect that many of the crowd and some of our team were actually sick of politics and the dishonesty that goes with it.

Nevertheless business was steady. We heard the occasion muttering of "Reform" from a tight lipped passer by, but nothing that constituted opposition. We had many callers and chatters who took away our leaflets, stickers, and the occasional flag. Bollocks to Brexit stickers still retain their charm.

Many folk stipped by to warmly wish us well and have protracted chats about their similar views and experiences.

We had noticeably many visitors of all ages from the Continent of Europe who were pleased to see us and wished us well.

Our next outing will be at Fulford ground on Monday 31st August, 1.00 p.m.. A great day out for all the family. Be there!
