If you have already purchased a seat for the planned September 10th
march, you will need to confirm you are coming with us on the 22nd
October and your boarding point (see below).
You will appreciate that following the announcement of the sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the planned march had to be rapidly cancelled and all ticket purchasers contacted individually.
Some opted to reclaim their ticket money; others left it with us against (this) rescheduled march; others regarded the previous payment as a donation for York for Europe. This understandably has made things quite complicated for Sue, our treasurer. Therefore we need you to tell us (below) your position now.
The good news is the Pullman Coaches refunded our money at short notice, and are able to supply another vehicle for the 22nd October.
So, if we are holding a ticket for you, and you are able to come with us on the 22nd October, please complete and submit the section below. Do tell us your boarding point and how many tickets you have paid for - in the "Message" box.
There are still spaces on our coach ~ do use the purchasing section to buy a seat(s) via Paypal or bankers' order.

The Route
We have a quote for a coach to travel from central York then going to the Wetherby Service area, to collect those who are coming from the west of the A1(M) and anyone for whom that pick up is more convenient than the York start point, then on to London.
Departure times and pick up points
York 6.45 a.m. at bus stop opp. War Memorial Gardens Leeman Road Nr Station Wetherby 7.10 a.m. MOTO Wetherby Service area, Junc 46 on the A1(M), London 16.45 p.m. Millbank - the Thames embankment towards the Tate Gallery Expect to arrive back York 22-23.00 p.m. traffic permitting.
Cars can be left at the Service Area for a daily fee which can be booked online in advance https://www.moto-way.com/services/wetherby/. (You will also note the cost of fuel on this link. Travel is expensive due to a low value of sterling.) Car sharing to Wetherby will obviously reduce the parking cost to individuals and we will put people in touch with each other so they can arrange car sharing if that looks feasible. On the return journey the coach will drop off at Wetherby and York.

Cost - £36.00 per seat.
As well as encouraging folk to purchase a seat at full price we are planning to offer seats at concessionary prices. The number of these and the amount to which we are able to help will depend solely on the number of seats sold for the coach and donations received. These will obviously be decided upon nearer the time but if you need help please message us via the messaging feature below, please do. Information will be confidential to the committee.

You now need to book your ticket(s) through the PayPal portal (below). We will not reserve or hold tickets for anyone on the basis of how many seats they expected to book in response to our initial request for shows of interest. We’ll continue to advertise the coach until it’s full. Seats will be sold on a first come, first served basis. So please purchase now - it secures you a place and makes our planning easier.
Tickets will not be issued or posted to you in hard copy form. We are a friendly bunch and a check list of e mail addresses or names given at the coach will be fine. Ignore Paypal comments about delivery. You will of course receive a receipt from them.

These are hard times, caused, not least by Brexit itself. If you would be able to sponsor somebody else to travel with or instead of yourself. This would not only enable somebody else to be there, but it will keep the cost of the coach viable for us. If you cannot manage the whole £36, please do what you can.
